Senior Pastor

Pastor Russ Barton has served God's people for over twenty years. Whether as a youth minister, music minister, assistant pastor or finally as a senior pastor, his heart has always been for the people. His first church grew from approximately twenty people to almost four hundred in less than nine years. Pastor Russ' mission is to continue to reach God's people through a local body of believers he calls a Church of a Second Chance, reaching out to those whom others have rejected. Having been through difficult times himself, he understands the hurts of those who are down and out, and he has a true heart for those the organized church often rejects.

Pastor Russ is ordained through Global Relief and Missions of Tampa, Florida. He is married to Terry. They have five children.

Benevolence

Glenda Jackson, Benevolence Coordinator - Glenda leads a team of volunteers that provide for those in need . Both in the church and in the community. Glenda is passionate about helping others and demonstrating the Love of God by her actions. If there is a need individuals can call 309-663-1052 and leave a message.

G1 Generation

G1 Generation is a ministry blended to serve the youth and young adults of our community. Guest ministries, movie nights, nacho runs and yes even some teaching creates an atmosphere of fellowship and learning. We strive to help each other to put God First (G1) in our lives. Discussion about relationships, family issues, career issues and other pertinent topics rule the day @ G1. Come join us as we endeavor to develop a new generation of leaders who actually know what their Destiny in life is and are pursuing it with passionate abandon.
